Finding Country Reports

This page is going to demonstrate how to find country reports in Business Source Premier.

  1. First, make sure you uncheck the box for "Suggest Subject Terms."
  2. Next, enter the name of your country into the first search box.
  3. Lastly, select "Country Report" from the "Publication Type" under the "Search Options." The hit search.

  1. I searched for Afghanistan. You can see the title of the report here which usually includes the year if it a full Country Report. It may also be called a Country Review.
  2. Check the date in the citation information. More than likely you are going to be looking for the most recent report you can find.

The last thing you may want to try, is selecting "GE Geographical Terms" from the drop down menu where it says 'Select a Field." This will limit results to only those as being identified to be about the country you are searching. What this should eliminate are results that are related to that country but actually about a completely different country. For example, a report about the United States will probably have information regarding their relationship with Afghanistan, but it may not be relevant to what I am searching for.
