Evaluating resources is an important part of all types of research. The most difficult types of resources to evaluate are websites. If you need assistance deciding whether a resource is "good enough" or "worthy" to be used in your research, check out the CRAAP Test!
You can always ask a librarian or your instructor if you have doubts about a resource, but in most cases it is best not to use the source if you have doubts.
