Celebrating and documenting the creativity of Asian, Black, Latina, and Native women, VG is one of the internet's most comprehensive and well-respected academic databases for women artists of color. Voices from the Gaps operates out of the University of Minnesota.

With increasing access to education and higher rates of literacy, African Americans entered a period of literary productivity in the second half of the 19th century. This digital collection includes 52 works by 19th-century black women writers in the United States.

This site examines the changing role of women's dime novels in America from 1870 to 1920. Rather than simply collect texts or author biographies (although it does that), the site is built around the goal of analyzing the novels and placing them in historical context.

The project aims to produce an online scholarly archive consisting of electronic editions of poetry by British women written between 1789 and 1832. Texts are being included that are not readily accessible from other sources.
